Mohammed Omar Subedar is the Director of the Mathabah Institute, CEO of Bukhari Publications, COO of the Halal Monitoring Authority and khaṭīb (preacher) at the Islamic Society of Peel, Ontario. Subedar was born and raised in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada. In 1990, he enrolled in the Institute of Islamic Education located in Dewsbury, W. Yorkshire, United Kingdom. There, he became a ḥāfiẓ of the Qurʾān in 1993. In 2001, he graduated from a seven-year dars-i niẓāmī program offered by the same institute. He was thus conferred the title of Scholar of Islamic Sciences and Arabic Literature.

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah’s Messenger [Mohammad] (ﷺ) said, “The Hour will not be established until you fight with the Jews, and the stone behind which a Jew will be hiding will say. “O Muslim! There is a Jew hiding behind me, so kill him.”

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah [Mohammad] (ﷺ) said, “The Last Hour will not come until the Muslims fight against the Jews, until a Jew will hide himself behind a stone or a tree, and the stone or the tree will say: ‘O Muslim, there is a Jew behind me. Come and kill him,’ but Al-Gharqad tree will not say so, for it is the tree of the Jews.”
