On April 13, 2015 Robert Thorpe posted on his Facebook page a meme featuring Israel’s prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu in a shape of a Golem (In Jewish folklore, a golem is an animated anthropomorphic being that is magically created entirely from inanimate matter) and Israeli soldiers portrayed as fascists wearing an emblem of the British Union of Fascists while walking by Al-Aqsa mosque (the meme features the Dome of the Rock Mosque].
The meme reads:
My precious. You belong TO ME. You’re mine, mine, Mine. The Arabes [sic] and the Christianses [sic] say you’re theirs too, but I don’t care!!! I’ll steal you. I’ll KILL THEM! Hee Hee Hee. Yesss Preciousssss. I’ll order the shvartzeses [black, a derogatory term] soldiers to kill them. Hee Hee Hee. Mean and nasty Arabses [ssic] & stupid, weak, Christianses [sic], who believe everything I say. Hee Hee Hee. They’re next! Stupid Christianses [sic]. Oh Yess, Precious. Just wait Hee Hee hee. They can’t stop me & they can’t have you. MINE! Steal, kill, destroy. Aiyee. Yesss. Precious. Mine – all mine.
Netanyahu is determined to steal the ‘Dome of the Rock’, shared for centuries by Moslems, Christians and Jews, and destroy it to build a temple. As a bonus, the angery [sic] protest he provokes will provide an excuse to kill more Arabs.
The theme of the meme appears to be inspired by the character of the gollum from the The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien. Based on the novel three movies were produced for young people.
