On June 22, 2019 a far-left counter demonstration was held at the intersection of the streets University Avenue and Armory Street in Toronto. Organized by Toronto Against Fascism, INAF: Intersectional Anti-Fascists the demonstration was dubbed “All Out Against Fascism! Pride Against Pegida!”
Pegida Canada’s demonstration across the street protested against anti LGBTQ statements by Canadian imams, mainstream media’s whitewash of Islamic terrorism, antisemitism and radical Islam.
Participating in the far-left protest was a masked man wearing a badge with the Star of David in which the word Israel is crossed out with an X.
