On April 5, 2026, Hizb ut-Tahrir Canada shared a statement by Ata Abu Rashta, the Emir of Hizb ut-Tahrir, which reads in part as follows [originally in Arabic):
[When the Caliphate is established] A mighty flood will be unleashed, demolishing the thrones of the rulers in its path. It will liberate Palestine and crush the Jewish entity underfoot—and this is easy and readily achievable by the permission of Allah, even though many see it as a mere fantasy.
The [Muslim] Ummah harbors a driving creed like a powerful river, and it harbors deep hatred toward America and the Jews because of the enormity of their oppression and the way this oppression has grown. The scenes of this victory that we envision are not far off, by the permission of Allah, when the Almighty grants His great victory.
And perhaps what the Muslim Ummah will do after that, and what the battlefields will declare, will surpass what any pen can describe now.
Allah has made His way (Sunnah) in this world according to His saying, the Exalted:“And it is an obligation upon Us to give victory to the believers.” [Quran, Surah Ar-Rum 30:47]
