On February 4, 2020 Calgary Jewish Federation issued the following statement:
Calgary Jewish Federation is aware of the tasteless and hateful graffiti on the sound barrier wall at Deerfoot entering Mackenzie Blvd SE. We thank Calgary Police Service for being extremely responsive and encourage anyone with information to email hatecrime@calgarypolice.ca. There is no place for this in Calgary or anywhere else.
The graffiti reads:
[Swastika] Simp nation bitch
Your [sic] a skitso
[Offensive image removed] Hate Jews!
