On June 16, 2019 the Brandon Police Service in Manitoba reported:

Police attended Linden Lanes School and Vincent Massey High School on Saturday during the day, as the exterior walls of both buildings had been spray pained overnight. Both buildings were targeted with racist was well as anti-Semitic comments and logos, and other hateful and vulgar comments sometime between 4:30 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. on Saturday. From video surveillance a lone male, possibly in his mid to late teens or early 20’s, was identified on site as being the person responsible. The male was wearing a black or navy sweater or track jacket with a hood and 2 red or orange stripes on each sleeve extending from the shoulder to the wrist, as well as some red or orange striping along the seams of the torso, a black ball cap with a red peak, a black bandana over his face, black pants and shoes, a white hoodie or sweater underneath the outer dark hoodie, and was carrying a black backpack with orange writing across the front. The spray paint used was black, blue, and white in colour. No suspect has been identified as of yet.
