#BREAKING: “israeli” occupation forces murdered 28 year old Samir Ahmed Abdul Jalil Hamidi [سمير أحمد عبد الجليل حميدي], tonight in Tulkarem city in the occupied West Bank and closed all the entrances to his home town of Beit Lid. On October 5, 2020 the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) provided details on the בircumstances of death of Samir Ahmed Abdul Jalil Hamidi (originally in Hebrew):
A short time ago, during a routine IDF operation near a military post, the IDF soldiers identified three terrorists who were throwing Molotov cocktails at them near the Einav settlement in the area of Menashe Region Brigade. IDF soldiers responded by firing and one of the terrorists was hit. There are no casualties to our forces. IDF fighters search the area for the other two terrorists.
According to the Student Union Council at Palestine Technical University / Khadouri (Tulkarem), Samir Ahmed Abdul Jalil Hamidi was a member of Fatah’s student movement, Al-Shabiba and former [security] prisoner. The term “security prisoners” refers to Palestinians who were arrested/ convicted for security offenses, mainly terrorist activity.
