Toronto Students for Justice in Palestine (TSJP) at the University of Toronto Scarborough “is organized on democratic principles to promote justice, human rights, liberation and self-determination for the people of Palestine.”

On April 3, 2019 TSJP shared two Facebook posts by Quds News Network:

TSJP: Israeli “terrorists” killed an innocent Palestinian

Quds News Network – Post-A: “One bullet from a Zionist Israeli occupier killed 23-year-old Mohammed Abdul-Fattah and changed his child’s life forever!! Abdul-Fattah is from Salfit city, he was shot and killed by an Israeli settler southern Nablus.”

Quds News Network – Post-B: “He will never see his baby girl growing up and she will never be daddy’s girl.. because an extremist settler decided to kill him and leave him bleeding to death on the roadside.”

TSJP commented on the latest Quds News Network’s post: “The amount of disrespect and disregard to human life has reached outrageous levels. These dehumanizing terrorists are just another result of a terrorist state.”

Israeli media: “Palestinian attacker was shot dead during an attempted stabbing”

On March 4, 2019 Israeli Ynetnews reported:

“A would-be Palestinian attacker was shot dead Wednesday morning during an attempted stabbing near Huwara in the West Bank. The man was shot by two armed Israeli civilians, including his target. The attacker was evacuated to Beilinson Hospital in Petah Tikva in critical condition and died shortly afterwards. No one else was harmed in the incident.

“Initial reports said the attacker blocked an Israeli vehicle in which a father and his daughter were sitting, at a junction near Huwara on Route 60, close to the Palestinian city of Nablus. He approached the car’s driver with a knife in his hand when the driver and an Israeli driving a nearby truck opened fire.

“The driver was later named as Yehoshua Sherman, who runs the field campaign for the New Right Party. “I went to work and drove from Elon Moreh towards the Tapuach Junction,” said Sherman. “At one of the junctions (along the way) a terrorist charged at the car and tried to open the door. I got out of the car (from the other door) and as he was making his way to me, I shot him along with another man who driving a truck behind me.”

On March 4, 2019 Israeli Haaretz reported:

“A Palestinian man was shot and seriously wounded after he suspectedly tried to carry out a stabbing attack at the Hawara checkpoint near the West Bank city of Nablus. The man later died of his wounds. The Palestinian Health Ministry said another Palestinian man was moderately wounded and taken to hospital.

The Israeli military reported no further injuries in the suspected attack, adding an armed settler, and not a member of the security forces, shot the man. Yehoshua Sherman, a resident of the West Bank settlement of Elon Moreh and a prominent activist with the Union of the Right-Wing Parties. identified as the shooter.

“I was driving to work and heading toward the Tapuah Junction,” he said. “At the intersection, a terrorist with a knife jumped on my car and tried to open its door.” He added he then stepped out, shot the Palestinian man, who has not been named, “and neutralized him with the assistance of another man who was driving in the car behind me.”
