This is the seventh shooting attack in Toronto since the start of the American-Israeli military campaign against Iran on February 28, 2026. Below is a list of the previous shooting attacks:

March 1, 2026 – Multiple shots were fired at a boxing gym owned by an Iranian-Canadian activist, located in a commercial plaza near Yonge Street and Steeles Avenue East in Thornhill.

March 2, 2026 – Multiple gunshots were fired at The Old Avenue restaurant, which is located near Dufferin Street and Steeles Avenue in Toronto.

March 2, 2026 – Multiple shots were fired at Temple Emanu-El synagogue, located at Old Colony Rd & Harrison Rd in Toronto.

March 3, 2026 – Multiple gunshots were fired at the York Entrepreneurship Development Institute (YEDI), located near Keele Street and Steeles Avenue in Thornhill. The president of YEDI is also a board member of the Canadian Zionist Federation.

March 6, 2026 – Multiple shots were fired at Beth Avraham Yoseph of Toronto Synagogue (BAYT), located at Clark Avenue and York Hill Boulevard in Thornhill.

On March 7, 2026 – Multiple shots were fired at Shaarei Shomayim Congregation, located at 470 Glencairn Ave in North York, Toronto.
