On Friday September 13, 2019 a group of activists affiliated with far left groups including Independent Jewish Voices and Not In Our Name (NION) demonstrated in Toronto in front of the Israeli Consulate (Yonge and Bloor) and Indigo Books and Music store (Bay and Bloor).
A passerby held a short conversation with Jake Javanshir, a member of Independent Jewish Voice Canada, who participated in the protest in front of Indigo:
Passerby: I have seen many dead Israelis [by Palestinian terrorism].
Jake Javanshir: Good.
Passerby: Good?
Jake Javanshir: You should be one of them.
Passerby: I should be one of what?
Jake Javanshir: One of those.
Passerby: On of those what?
Jake Javanshir: That they f— you.
