Toronto resident Robert Thorpe, is a member of the New Democratic Party (NDP) and a left wing political activist who supports the annual Al-Quds day rally and the BDS (Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions) campaign against Israel.
On December 24, 2018 Robert Thorpe posted on his Facebook page:
Zio-Fascism is an accurate description of the behaviour of Israel, at home, where they impose a genocidal, apartheid regime upon the Palestinians, and abroad where they undermine free speech and democracy everywhere. IT IS TIME TO CALL IT FOR WHAT IT IS. — It is also time to put an end to it. BOYCOTT, DIVEST AND SANCTION ISRAEL.
