Al-Quds Day rally in Toronto took place on June 1, 2019. The speakers at the event were Suzanne Weiss, Ken Stone, Zafar Bangash, Ali Mallah, Nasim Askari, Robert Massoud, Dmitri Lascaris, Ted Schmidt, Leary Charles, Yves Engler and Stephen Ellis who read a statement written by Rabbi Stern from Neturei Karta. Hussein Mojtahedy led the slogans between speakers.
Participants in Al-Quds Day rally waved the national flags of Iran and held pictures featuring Ayatollah Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the leader of the 1979 Iranian Revolution, Sayyid Ali Hosseini Khamenei, the current Supreme Leader of Iran, Hassan Nasrallah, leader of Hezbollah, Ahmad Yassin, founder of Hamas and Al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas military wing supported by Iran.
A poster read: “I hope that we will see the day when you offer congregational prayers in QUDS, God willing. We believe that this day will come. Imam Sayyed Ali Khanenei , leader of the Muslim Ummah [nation].”
A participant in Al-Quds Day rally said: “I do support Hezbollah by the way. Yes I do. Hezbollah is a political organization.”
When asked “Do you support Hezbollah?” another participant in Al-Quds Day rally said: “I support everyone [who] fights for his rights, anybody fights for his rights I do support. End of story.”
