On August 5, 2019 Bill613.com, a news website covering all items of interest to Montreal’s Orthodox Jewish community, posted:
SWASTIKA SPOTTED NEAR YESHIVA GEDOLA. This sign, located near on Avenue Robert next to the Sanctuaire Park, was defaced with a (backwards) swastika and other unclear graffiti. EDIT: The text appears to read “changer la vie”
On August 5, 2019 the swastika was removed by Corey Fleischer, a Montreal activist who has been running Erasing Hate from public spaces.
