On April 29, 2019 the League for Human Rights, an agency of B’nai Brith Canada dedicated to combating antisemitism and racism at home and around the world, issued the 2018 Annual Audit of Antisemitic Incidents.

Here is an excerpt from the report:

2018 was the third straight record-setting year for antisemitism in Canada. The year’s 2,041 recorded incidents represent a 16.5% increase in antisemitism over 2017’s 1,752 incidents. Since 2015, there has been a steady and worrying increase of antisemitic incidents in Canada that continued in 2018, marking the first time the Audit has reported incidents extending into the 2,000 range. Moreover, 2018 represented a marked increase of antisemitic incidents compared to previous years.
